# Configuration Files

All files are in `plugins/WalksyLibControl/`. After editing them by hand, run `/wlcontrol reload`.

## `config.yml`

```yaml
log-client-reports: true
```

| Key                  | Default | Description                                                   |
| -------------------- | ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `log-client-reports` | `true` | Log which mods each joining client lets the server switch off |

## `rules.yml`

Holds the global rule set and every rule set created with commands. You usually edit it with `/wlcontrol`, but you can also edit it by hand:

<pre class="language-yaml"><code class="lang-yaml">global:
  disable:
    - shieldstatus:other-player-shields
<strong>    - id: crosshairaddons:hitmarker
</strong> reason: Hitmarkers are disabled on this server

rule-sets:
  uhc:
    disable:
      - customhitboxes
      - id: shieldstatus
        reason: Not in UHC
    worlds:
      - uhc_1
    permission: ''
</code></pre>

* Each entry is `modId` (the whole mod) or `modId:feature`.
* To add a reason, write the entry as `{id: ..., reason: ...}`.
* `permission: ''` means "not tied to a permission".
* Invalid entries are skipped with a warning in the console.

{% hint style="info" %}
Rule sets created by other plugins through the API are **not saved** to `rules.yml` unless the plugin makes them persistent. `/wlcontrol ruleset <id>` shows `Saved: no (made by a plugin)` for these.
{% endhint %}

## `messages.yml`

```yaml
prefix: "&8[&dWalksyLibControl&8]&r "
switched-off: "{prefix}&aSwitched {target} off {where}.{told}"
```

Placeholders like `{target}` and `{where}` are filled in by the plugin. Keep them in your edited messages.
